Should I get a Dell or Acer mini laptop?

I want a mini-laptop from my mother, she has missed for some time. It is not very computer Savoy and only use for e-mail, basic Internet, typing documents. The Acer is almost $ 100 cheaper, but I want it to last time.

Dell. I run 50 + lbs Net Dell on my network and have not had a single problem with any of them. Hope that helps!
